Booking Confirmation
Your booking is confirmed once the required deposit has been received. By paying the deposit, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Changes to Your Itinerary
If you wish to add destinations, remove destinations, replace attractions, or make any other changes to your confirmed itinerary, you must notify Lungo Local Tour Ethiopia at least 15 days before your arrival. We will do our best to accommodate your request, subject to availability and operational requirements.
Cancellation or Modification Due to Unforeseen Circumstances
We understand that unexpected situations can occur. If you are unable to travel due to circumstances beyond your control, we will work with you to reschedule your tour.
Health Emergencies
If your flight is cancelled or you are unable to travel due to a serious health problem or other imminent medical emergency, your tour will be rescheduled to a future date that is convenient for you.
Government Travel Restrictions
If your trip cannot take place because of official travel restrictions or government declarations issued by Ethiopia or your home country, including but not limited to:
- Civil war or armed conflict
- Internal or international political unrest
- Pandemic or other infectious disease outbreaks
- Government travel bans or border closures
Your tour will be postponed and rescheduled for a future date that is mutually agreed upon by you and Lungo Local Tour Ethiopia.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
At Lungo Local Tour Ethiopia, we value our guests and understand that travel plans may change. Our cancellation and refund policy is designed to be fair to both our clients and our business.
Deposit
A deposit is required to confirm your booking. Once the deposit has been received, your tour dates and services will be reserved.
Cancellation by the Guest
More than 30 Days Before Arrival
If you cancel your tour more than 30 days before your arrival, your deposit can be transferred to a future tour date within 24 months. The deposit is non-refundable.
15–30 Days Before Arrival
If you cancel between 15 and 30 days before your arrival, your deposit will be retained and may be used as credit for a future tour within 24 months.
Less than 15 Days Before Arrival
Cancellations made less than 15 days before arrival are generally not eligible for a refund because hotels, transport, guides, and other services have already been confirmed and paid for.
Changes to Your Tour
Any request to add destinations, remove destinations, or change your itinerary must be made at least 15 days before your arrival. We will do our best to accommodate changes, subject to availability.
Unforeseen Circumstances
If you cannot travel because of:
- A serious medical emergency;
- Government travel restrictions;
- Border closures;
- Civil war or political conflict;
- Pandemic or infectious disease outbreaks; or
- Other official events that prevent your travel,
Lungo Local Tour Ethiopia will reschedule your tour to a future date that is mutually agreed upon. Your deposit will remain valid for the rescheduled tour.
Cancellation by Lungo Local Tour Ethiopia
If we must cancel your tour due to circumstances beyond our control or for operational reasons, you will be offered one of the following options:
- Reschedule your tour to a future date; or
- Receive a full refund of any payments made directly to Lungo Local Tour Ethiopia for services that cannot be provided.
Refund Processing
If a refund is approved, it will be processed using the original payment method whenever possible. Any bank charges, payment processing fees, or currency conversion fees may be deducted where applicable.
